Restaurant Bulls Head

Restaurant

We pride ourselves on using the freshest, most locally produced ingredients available in our newly refurbished kitchen.  The regular menu contains traditional favourites, such as a minted lamb casserole, together with more exotic dishes, while vegetarians are well catered for with a number of mouth-watering options always on offer.   There is an ever changing specials board, with, for example, clever variations on the simple quiche, a sixteen ounce T-bone steak, a sea-food medley, or how about the moulamb rouge? – A lamb shank cooked slowly in a sauce of red wine.

Portions are reassuringly generous, with healthy and delicious side servings of salad, or perfectly cooked vegetables; a good selection of wines are available to complement your choice of meal.

Dishes of all kinds are served throughout the pub, on the side-terrace and into the flower-filled garden, which overlooks the playpark at one end, so you can dine in the sunshine while keeping one eye on the kids.

The walls feature paintings and prints by local artist Lynne Wilkinson; these are a much admired visual feast and a real talking point should conversation dry up during your meal...
